"Your Choices Control
“We are each responsible for our own conduct.” Galatians 6: 5 NLT
Your choices are more powerful than your circumstances. You may not like how complicated your life has become but no one is forcing you to keep your life complicated. With very few exceptions, most of us make our own choices and decisions.
If you want a simpler life, you’re the one who has to simplify it. God expects you to assume responsibility for your life and to carefully choose how you spend your time.
So how do you do it? How do you simplify your life? The first thing you want to figure out is, are you doing what God wants you to do? That takes prayer and meditation.
God has given you the gift of time. He’s also given you the freewill to choose how you spend it. When you try to do more than what God wants you to do, it’s only natural that you find yourself constantly out of time and stressed over your schedule.
Don’t blame your schedule. Look at the choices you’re making and decide what you believe God wants you to do. Do those things that you feel God calling you to do. When you do that God will provide the power and ability to do them.
Peace in the Lord,
